Scénographie d'exposition -- 21e siècleIndex. décimale : 747.7 Architecture d'intérieur - Culturelle Résumé :
Successful exhibition design is more than the presentation of products, objects and ideas, going beyond the mere conveyance of information related to them. A functioning concept must contribute to a deeper understanding.
It must also tell a story. The basic and defining concept is to not only allow but to actually initiate communication and interaction between the exhibit and the observer. The interdisciplinary fusion of architecture, graphic design, digital media, and interior design, occasionally even including scenographic elements gives creativity a very large space to bloom.
The permanent and contemporary projects presented in this volume include museums and art exhibitions, installations, as well as the presentation of products at fair booths and in show rooms.Exhibition : Design [texte imprimé] / Sibylle Kramer, Auteur ; Geoffrey Steinherz, Traducteur . - Salenstein (Suisse) : Braun, 2014 . - 1 vol. Architects of this temporary type of architecture face the challenge of creating a miniature version of the company under very special conditions : limited space and very often limited resources.
The employed means today go further than architectural eye catcher, but also include elements that appeal to all senses, such as digital installations.

Contemporary interior design is largely defined by the creation of diverse spaces that can be experienced with all of the senses.
The novel combination of the design elements colour, fabric, glass and light gives birth to dramatic spatial vibrancy, creating interior ambience that ranges from restful to elegant and conjuring up a sense of movement and vitality in residential and working environments.
Thus, for example, the particular effectiveness of light - its refraction and concentration, absorption and reflection, colour and rhythm - is effectively made manifest in combination with glass. This illustrated volume opulently presents a unique selection of over 6o notable designed interiors - ranging from private residences to small businesses and major public buildings.
Architecte, interior designers and artists demonstrate how the personality of a given space can be decisively formed through an innovative interplay of materials.
The projects included here are presented in such a way as to provide the reader with a source both of inspiration and information, taking them on a spectacular tour of the sensuous treasures hidden within these spaces.Inside : Interiors of colour fabric glass light [texte imprimé] / Sibylle Kramer, Auteur ; Iris van Hülst, Auteur . - Salenstein (Suisse) : Braun, 2007 . - 1 vol. The interior design of recent years stands out above all for its original use of materials. Classic building materials, such as concrete, stone and wood, are now being employed in a variety of new ways. Unusual design opportunities open up through, for example, the experimental use of concrete, proving that this essentially hard material can produce surprisingly soft forms, warm colours and a velvety touch.
This illustrated volume presents an inspiring selection of over 6o designed interiors created by renowned architects. With some of the featured projects, the particular spatial impact stems from a reduction to a single monolithic piece, while with others surprising results emerge from the interplay of materials, giving rise to distinctive and dramatic spaces.Inside : Interiors of concrete stone wood [texte imprimé] / Sibylle Kramer, Auteur ; Iris van Hülst, Auteur ; Stephen Roche, Traducteur . - Salenstein (Suisse) : Braun, 2007 . - 189 p. : ill. en noir et en coul., couv. ill. en coul. ; 30 cm.
